As a key part of the project on 2017 Developing Thai Industries to Green Industry (GI), organized by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of industry; Mr. Somchai Hanirun, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry presided over the Green Industry Awards 2017 Ceremony at Green Level 4 (Green Culture) to Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. represented by Mr. Yongyuth Paktaranan, Director of Human Resources Management
The project on 2017 that Green Industry has been continuously organized for 7 consecutive years. This year There are 189. factories who received Green Level 4 (Green Culture) and 23 factories who received Green Level 5 (Green Network). The project aims at promoting sustainable business practise in line with the country and the world as development mega-trend and encouraging industry to be responsible for environmental and social. The GI development is defined as 5 levels consisting of Level 1:Green Commitment, Level 2:Green Activity, Level 3:Green System, Level 4: Green Culture, everyone in the organization participate in the friendly environmental operation, and Level 5:Green Network, enhancing partners and alliances to enter the green industry certification process throughout the green supply chain.
