Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, through its Phra Khanong Refinery, has received the Green Industry Level 5 Award, the highest level of recognition, for the third consecutive year at the Green Industry Awards 2025 under the theme TOGETHER WE GROW GREENER, organized by the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, at the Royal Thai Army Club (Vibhavadi).
This year, Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery is the only refinery in Thailand to achieve this top recognition. The award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, with Dr. Anekpracha Kaewmanee, Director of Refinery Strategy and Business Development, receiving the award on behalf of the company.
The award reflects Bangchak's integration of sustainable development principles across its operations, from effective environmental management and concrete environmental initiatives, to extending the green industry model beyond the organization. The company actively engages with communities and consumers while encouraging partners, operators, and suppliers throughout its supply chain to pursue green industry certification. This achievement reaffirms Bangchak's commitment to advancing a balanced approach to economic, social, and environmental dimensions, contributing to a sustainable energy future for Thailand.
In 2025, a total of 274 establishments were recognized, comprising 44 at Level 5 and 230 at Level 4. Bangchak's recognition at the highest level for three consecutive years further highlights its leadership in driving sustainable industry practices.
