OSMEP Prepares to Organize "SME ONE FEST 2018" Joined by Over 1,100 SMEs throughout Thailand with Expected Income Over 100 Million Baht and Goal to Approach CLMV and Turkey

          OSMEP held a press conference to announce "SME ONE FEST 2018" event joined by over 1,100 entrepreneurs with various product styles and Thailand's leading marketing guru who will give some useful suggestions and tips for increasing sale volumes. In addition, there will be the stage for business negotiation to drive SMEs to international markets and approach CLMV and Turkey. It is expected that the obtained income will be not lower than 100 million baht. 
          Mr.Suwanchai Lohawatanakul, the Director General of the office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP) revealed that serious competition of domestic and international markets was the crucial pressure affecting to the growth of Thailand's SMEs therefore OSMEP established a project to develop marketing channels for SME entrepreneurs. In 2018, OSMEP aims to develop at least 2,000 SME entrepreneurs to gain knowledge on international market as well as to support domestic and international marketing of at least 2,000 businesses throughout Thailand. Moreover, business matching will be promoted in Thailand and other countries for at least 2,000 pairs of business leading to the value of negotiation not lower than 2 billion baht. 
          The Director General of OSMEP also revealed that, to achieve such goal, OSMEP is preparing to hold "SME ONE FEST 2018" during September 6th – 9th, 2018 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center by inviting entrepreneurs who are the members of OSMEP throughout Thailand to hold over 1,100 booths for selling various kinds of products, for example, organic products, health and beauty products, food and beverage, instant and read-to eat products, lifestyle products, fashionable products, jewelry from new generation designers, and ornamental fish. It is expected that this event will be joined by over 50,000 audiences. 
          "Moreover, business matching will be also organized among Thailand's SME entrepreneurs and those of neighboring countries classified as CLMV (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam), and Turkey. It is expected that there will be over 250 businesses in this business matching that will be a part to achieve the goal of this year's business matching, i.e., not lower than 2,000 pairs of business" Mr.Suwanchai said. 
          In this "SME ONE FEST 2018", there will be some seminars moderated by experts from various fields, for example, "How to deal with online era" moderated by Mr.Prin Chamreonpanitch, "How to be rich from speaking" moderated by Instructor Mr.Thunyawat Chaitrakulchai, etc. 
          In addition, this event will be joined by some famous bloggers who will share their useful experiences and tips, for example, make-up techniques for various occasions shared by Nang Phaya Plauk by Miss Rain, beauty and health suggested by Pa Pim Misspimpaka, fusion cooking demonstrated by Chef Book Boonsamith from Foodwork Program and "Rad Na Khan Tep" restaurant, handmade jewelry demonstrated by Nunya Design, soil processing products demonstrated by CC&C Product, candle burning fabric demonstrated by Baan Hattasilpa, artificial flowers from natural materials demonstrated by Tiara De Te Company Limited, etc. 
          "This event will be organized under SME Entrepreneurs Promotion Project of OSMEP that has been operated during 2018. This event will improve Thai marketing and increase distribution channels for Thai entrepreneurs and startups. Consequently, they will be able to develop their businesses in national level leading to international level in the future." Mr.Suwanchai said.
