Chia Tai, represented by Mr. Boonme Okman, Vice President Seed Business, recently provided 10,000 packets of vegetable seeds to Lt.Gen. Santipong Thampiya, Director of the Directorate of Civil Affairs, at the Directorate of Civil Affairs Office, Royal Thai Army Headquarters, to support the “Yoo Ban Dee Mee Sook Phorphiang” campaign, which aims to encourage people to plant home-grown vegetables in order to reduce their expenses, create long-term food security, as well as to help those affected by COVID-19 to be able to support themselves. The Directorate of Civil Affairs will assign staff to distribute these popular fast-growing seeds, which include Chinese Kale, Chinese Convolvulus, Pak Choy and Holy Basil, to provincial communities under their responsibility and encourage people to plant them at home.
