Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, CEO of Advanced Info Service Public Limited Company (AIS) representing Advanced Wireless Network Limited Company (AWN), presents the fifth installment payment for the 900 MHz license for an amount of 23,269,290,000 baht including VAT. AWN won the 900 MHz auction (895-905 MHz / 940-950 MHz) for a total of 75,654 million baht. General Sukit Khamasunthorn, Chairman of the Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission (NBTC), is present to receive AIS payment and hand over a new bank guarantee with the adjusted balances for installment #6-10. All payments will be processed as part of national revenues to be allocated for the development of digital infrastructure using 5G network to increase Thailand’s capability, quickly restore its economy, maximize and sustain benefits for Thai people and the country in the future.
