On June, 2023, Mr. Ken Iwamoto, president of Hino Motors Sales (Thailand) Ltd. attended the opening ceremony of the "Professional Driver Creation Project by School of Transportation" at the DLT Big Truck Driving School in Lam Luk, Pathum Thani. The project was marked as the collaboration between Hino and the Department of Land Transport. Joining Mr. Iwamoto in the ceremony were Ms. Sirirat Weeravisan, vice president for Academic Affairs, Department of Land Transport, and Mr. Apichat Prairungruang, president of the Land Transport Federation of Thailand. More than 150 people participated in the ceremony. All of the 30 drivers, when passing the training course, will receive the certificates and documents that can be used to obtain a truck driver's license. This project creates more occupational opportunities that may change their lives and builds well-trained drivers for Thailand's road safety.
