The University of Phayao recently held a meeting to discuss the establishment of a University Holding Company.

In the morning, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, delivered a special presentation on "Guidelines for Establishing a University Holding Company (UHC) and Investment Mechanisms in University Innovation Businesses." In the afternoon, participants shared their knowledge on guidelines for establishing UHC and joint innovation development among universities in the network. The focus was on policy and investment strategies to foster the development of commercially viable innovations. The expected outcomes of the meeting include clear guidelines for establishing UHC and creating a network of cooperation between universities and entrepreneurs in innovation development.

The participating university in the networks are as follows:

2. Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi
3. Naresuan University
4. Mae Fah Luang University
5. Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna
6. Chiang Mai University

          The University of Phayao recognizes the significance of advancing research results towards commercialization. As such, the project "Preparation for the Establishment of a University Holding Company" has been initiated to facilitate the creation of a University Holding Company and to foster collaboration between the university and entrepreneurs for long-term sustainability.
