On January 16th and 17th, 2025, the University of Phayao, represented by its President, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangphogpho, and other university officials including Vice President for Academic Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Chonthida Thephinlap, Vice President for Environment and Landscape Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts Assistant Professor Dr. Chittima Kaweera, and Assistant to the President and executives Mr. Nattawut Somyaone, participated in a signing ceremony for an academic and cooperative Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the University of Phayao and RNC Headquarters and Kandatsu Snow Ski Resort. The ceremony took place at the Shinsan Building in Shimbashi, Tokyo and Yuzawa City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with 13 prominent Japanese companies, represented by Mr. Kenji Tokunaka. This partnership aims to promote cooperative education and work-integrated learning, which are crucial processes in developing high-quality graduates. Additionally, it fosters international academic collaboration between the university and the industrial sector.
