KTC Transforms IT with New Leader, Embraces AI for a Smarter Future

Mrs. Pittaya Vorapanyasakul, President and Chief Executive Officer at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) emphasized the need for continuous adaptation in today's fast-evolving digital landscape. Effective January 1, 2025, as KTC's first female IT executive, Mrs. Wilaiwan Nopparat, Head of Information Technology, brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. She is tasked with developing and implementing technology strategies to support KTC's organizational goals, with a strong focus on enhancing the Core Payment Platform—an essential pillar of the company's operations

Mrs. Wilaiwan stated, "KTC has outlined an IT roadmap for 2025-2026 to enhance the efficiency and advancement of our personnel and information systems, particularly the Core Payment Platform, which is central to our operations. We will collaborate with leading IT partners to leverage world-class technology innovations as Total Solutions. This will strengthen our data management capabilities, enable fast and secure processing of large datasets, support real-time transactions, improve service efficiency for members and business partners, and ensure the stability and sustainability of KTC's future growth."

KTC's journey toward becoming a sustainable digital organization relies on more than technology investments. Three critical priorities include: 1) Empowering personnel as a core driving force; 2) Building expert teams to develop innovations that meet member needs, and 3) Enhancing member experiences through AI integration.

   KTC is developing Citizen Developers, enabling employees across all departments to actively contribute to process improvements using Low-Code tools. This approach enhances workflows while fostering a culture of learning and upskilling to drive innovation.
2. Fusion Team: Assemble Experts to Drive Innovation
   As part of its Digital Transformation strategy, KTC has established a "Fusion Team", comprising experts from diverse fields working collaboratively to create member-focused innovations. These teams are instrumental in improving internal processes, ensuring greater agility and efficiency.
3. Agentic AI: Transforming Member Experiences with AI
   By integrating AI-Powered Solutions, KTC can analyze member data, predict behaviors, automate decision-making, and provide real-time support. These innovations improve efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and create new opportunities for business growth.
