MSC organized volunteer forest planting activities at The Recreation and Convalescence Centre at Bangpu

At the event, the executives, staff and families listened to a lecture on the history of the Bang Pu Army Nature Study Center and the area's biodiversity. Afterwards, they planted 1,500 saplings, including sea kapok, sea acacia and red-flowered taro, to conserve the original forest and increase the mangrove forest area in the inner Gulf of Thailand. It also helps increase oxygen production and reduces the amount of carbon dioxide, which is a major cause of global warming.
