MSC organized volunteer forest planting activities at The Recreation and Convalescence Centre at Bangpu
Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited, led by Ms. Saowalak Phaksuphan, Vice President of Finance and Administration Group, along with more than 150 volunteer employees and families, joined in saving the world and restoring forests under the concept of "We Care We Volunteer", returning nice breeze to society, adding green to the world with care at The Recreation and Convalescence Centre at Bangpu, Samut Prakan Province on Saturday, December 14, 2022.
At the event, the executives, staff and families listened to a lecture on the history of the Bang Pu Army Nature Study Center and the area's biodiversity. Afterwards, they planted 1,500 saplings, including sea kapok, sea acacia and red-flowered taro, to conserve the original forest and increase the mangrove forest area in the inner Gulf of Thailand. It also helps increase oxygen production and reduces the amount of carbon dioxide, which is a major cause of global warming.
