When art dissolves all borders, brushstrokes become a language of friendship.

To mark a remarkable milestone - the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Thailand -Laos Diplomatic Relations, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane invites art lovers to cross the Mekong to Vientiane and visit special art exhibitions like no other.
This unprecedented artistic collaboration brings together 30 Thai artists and 30 Lao artists in a powerful visual dialogue that spans generations. Curated jointly by Thai and Lao Artists, each piece tells a heartfelt and profoundly human story of enduring friendship, shared history, and mutual respect.
The exhibitions present over 70 artworks that encapsulate the spirit of collaboration and harmony. From vivid paintings to evocative sculptures, the works illuminate the richness of both countries' cultural expressions. The Exhibitions will be held simultaneously across four premier art venues in Vientiane:
- The Gallery, National Institute of Fine Arts
- Saylom Art Studio
- Water Colour House
- I;cat gallery
Exhibitions date: 9-17 July 2025
This is more than an exhibition - it is an artistic phenomenon, a symbolic transversing the Mekong, where creativity meets diplomacy, and where share heritage is immortalised on canvas. Following the Vientiane exhibitions, the collection will journey to Udon Thani, Thailand, allowing even more audiences to experience the beauty of this heartfelt cross-border exchange.
Because when nations speak through art, the message is timeless.
