Wide Faith Group, a leader in the production and distribution of 100% Thai rice-based baked snacks, has invested 800 million baht to establish a new factory in WHA Industrial Estate, Chonburi Province. This expansion will increase production capacity to 18,568 tons per year, with a further increase to 40,168 tons per year expected once the remaining two production sites are fully established.The company focuses on producing innovative, modern products by utilizing the "baking process" that avoids frying and trans fats, catering to the growing global health-conscious consumer base. The new facility will support the production of over 70 Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) rice snack flavors, strengthening the company's global competitiveness and promoting a sustainable circular economy. The company targets an annual growth rate of 20% compared to the year 2024, while the global packaged rice snacks market size is expected to reach USD 5.48 billions in 2025, at CAGR 4.94% of growth.
Mr. Oliver Yeh, CEO of Wide Faith Group said that Wide faith Group in an expert in producing crispy rice snacks made from 100% thai rice. Established in 2002 by a team with over 30 years of experience in the food industry, under the "Better for You" concept for over 23 years. The company specializes in research and development of baked snacks that are baked, not fried, and utilizes internationally certified production technologies. The first factory was established in 2002 on an 8-rai plot, followed by a second factory in 2014 on a 13-rai plot, both located in Bangplee Industrial Estate, Samut Prakan Province, with a total investment of 500 million baht. In 2015, the company invested an additional 800 million baht to expand by relocating machinery from the first factory to Hemaraj Industrial Estate, Chonburi Province, on a 34-rai plot, to improve infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and production innovation. In order to increase the efficiency of production capacity, Wide Faith Group has decided to terminiated the first plant in Samutprakarn to speed up the new lines installation in plant Chonburi where will increase the capacity to fulfill the growing inquiries. Upon completion of the upgrades in 2025, the company will be able to increase production capacity to 18,568 tons per year from total 6 lines of 2 production sites to 40,168 tons per year with further expansion of another 2 plants in Chonburi, estimated another 6 lines, as well as enhancements to its research and development processes.
Additionally, the company's factory has received AA-grade certification from BRCGS, ensuring food safety and quality standards recognized internationally, particularly in the food and consumer goods industries. The factory is also ISO 9001:2015 certified and holds and Halal certifications, furthermore, all of our products are Gluten Free tested. The company promotes plastic recycling through Mono Material packaging, switching to 100% recyclable polypropylene (PP) plastic, reducing future waste generation. This initiative aligns with the company's sustainability goals to promote recycling and address global warming in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while also promoting consumer health.
Mr. Oliver also added that the company's production process prioritizes energy efficiency, waste reduction on the production line, and the promotion of locally sourced raw materials. The primary raw material is 100% Thai rice, which supports local Thai rice farmers and adds value to Thai rice by transforming it into innovative, modern products. This not only enhances the company's competitiveness in the global market, but also promotes consumer health and fosters a sustainable circular economy. Currently, the company plans to increase its rice procurement from the current level of 10,000 tons per year to 20,000 tons per year following the full-scale launch of its new production lines.
Wide Faith Group has also received the 'CSR-DIW CONTINUOUS AWARD 2023' from the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), an honor presented to organizations that continuously implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in accordance with DIW standards.

Mr. Oliver, also noted that the global snack market is expected to reach USD 341.27 billion between 2024 and 2029, growing at a CAGR of 6.08%. In 2024, the average per person consumption of snacks is estimated at 5.2 kilograms. The global rice snack market is projected to reach USD 5.48 billion by 2025, with the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region contributing 84%, with the CAGR growth at 4.94% till 2030.
Currently, Wide Faith Group Thai rice-based baked snacks worth up to USD 30 million globally. The primary markets are Australia, New Zealand, where the rice crackers of Wide Faith Group supplied holds a 36% market share, equivalent to USD 15 million out of a total market size of USD 41.6 million, and New Zealand, where the rice crackers gains a 45% market share, approximately USD 5 million out of a total market size of USD 11.11 million.
In Thailand, the snack market is valued at over 40 billion baht, representing a large and continuously growing sector. The rice-based snack segment alone is valued at over 2 billion baht. Given this potential, the company is focusing on marketing the Rise Buddy brand in Thailand. The company officially launched the new product under the "Rise Buddy Rice Chippies" brand in late 2024, with the first brand presenter, "Nongkul - Chanon Santinatornkul," representing the new generation of health-conscious consumers. The product is available in six flavors : Sriracha, Chili & Lime, BBQ, Sour Cream & Onion, Sea Salt, and Cheese, in 50-gram packages priced at 29 baht.
