Jutatip Sakulpanitcharoen, Spa Supervisor at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, decodes the wellness trends of the year
Maya Angelou, American memoirist, poet, and civil rights activist, famously said, "When women take care of their health, they become their own best friend." In a fast-paced world where fleeting thoughts become a compulsive reality, taking time for wellbeing and mindfulness is a luxury. "Drop yourself a note and set reminders," suggests Jutatip Sakulpanitcharoen, Spa Supervisor at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. "Dedicated time for wellbeing must be scheduled, just like every other priority!"
Natural Healing in the Heart of Golden Triangle
At Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, wellness is deeply rooted in nature, offering guests an immersive sanctuary to reconnect with themselves. "Our treatments draw inspiration from the surrounding jungle, using locally sourced herbs and botanicals that have been treasured for generations," shares Jutatip. "Besides holistic healing, we always recommend a focus on natural nutrition, which can be achieved through seasonal vegetables and fruits." Hydration, she emphasises, is also key to releasing toxins and maintaining gut balance especially after a long day of adventure.
Cherishing Those Zen moments
Although the demands of modern life may take a toll, women can adopt effective rituals to support their mental well-being and reduce burnout. This includes short movements during a working day, such as stretching, and scheduling meals and sleep cycles. "Beginning the day with meditation is a great way to reset and recharge," says Jutatip, adding that listening to calming nature sounds or spending time outdoors can help ease the reliance on digital stimulation. "Let the first and last 30 minutes of your day be dedicated to mindfulness," she advises.
Mindfulness at Home
At the jungle spa at Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, wellness extends beyond a single visit. It's about sustainable well-being. "We encourage guests to take home simple yet effective self-care rituals," explains Jutatip. "Breathwork techniques, gentle stretches, and homemade scrubs using natural ingredients such as turmeric, lemongrass, and honey are easy ways to maintain a sense of balance." Busting the common misconception that wellness is expensive, she suggests simple practices such as walking in nature, grounding exercises, and reducing screen time in favour of quality in-person connections. "Wellness should feel effortless, not overwhelming," she smiles.
