KTC and MO-MO-PARADISE Mark 18th Anniversary as Japanese Dining Spending Surges

Press Releases »

Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) reported sustained growth in credit card spending at Japanese restaurants, reflecting a broader consumer shift towards 'experiential spending' — prioritizing dining and shared experiences over material purchases. To mark the 18th anniversary of MO-MO-PARADISE in Thailand, KTC announced a nationwide campaign with the popular shabu-shabu and sukiyaki chain.

KTC and MO-MO-PARADISE Mark 18th Anniversary as Japanese Dining Spending Surges

Miss Varitta Phatanarajta, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at KTC, said that in the first half of 2025, redemption of KTC FOREVER points in the restaurant category continued to rise. "The data highlights a clear trend: members increasingly use their rewards to redeem dining experiences. MO-MO-PARADISE remains among the most popular choices for KTC cardholders," she said.

Mr. Surawech Telan, Chief Executive Officer of Noble Restaurant Company Limited, which operates MO-MO-PARADISE, added that the chain has consistently offered authentic Japanese-style shabu-shabu and sukiyaki at accessible prices for 18 years. "We have continued to grow despite fierce competition and shifting consumer behaviors, particularly among families and younger generations," he said. "This collaboration not only caters to the trend of experiential spending but also reinforces Japan's cultural footprint in Thailand through food and travel."

As part of the anniversary celebrations, customers will also have the chance to win prizes, including trips to Japan.

The special campaign runs from 1 September to 30 November 2025 at all MO-MO-PARADISE and MO-MO-PARADISE (GOLD) branches nationwide.
