Reaffirming its commitment to a strong financial position for Thanachart Group and the pursuit of new investment opportunities.

Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited (TCAP) reports its performance for the second quarter of 2025, with consolidated net profit of 2,196 million baht. Net profit attributable to the Company is 2,067 million baht, an increase of 21% from the previous quarter (Q-Q). For the first six months of 2025, the Company's total net profit is 4,026 million baht, with net profit attributable to the Company being 3,777 million baht, an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year.
Mr. Perapart Meksingvee, Chief Executive Officer of TCAP, said, "This quarter's growth demonstrates Thanachart Group's opertional strength. Despite a decline in net interest income—driven by THANI's focus on loan quality in a lower-return market—the Company has achieved a notable increase in non-interest income, particularly from dividends from investments. The Company has also prudently set aside provisions to mitigate future economic risks."
"Amid pressures from both domestic and international factors, the Thai economy in the second quarter of 2025 continued to expand from the previous quarter, leading to satisfactory overall growth for the first half of the year. However, in the second half, while tax measures imposed by the United States have become clearer, economic pressures persist and may cause the Thai economy to slow down."
"TCAP, as Thanachart Group's parent company, is committed to ensuring the stability of its subsidiaries. The Company will continue to prioritize prudent business operations, sustainable growth, and the ongoing pursuit of investment opportunities in promising businesses."
"Additionally, on 1 July 2025, TCAP sold all its shares in Thanachart Securities Public Company Limited (TNS) to TMBThanachart Bank (TTB) and received payment. This sale increases TTB's shareholding in TNS to 99.97%, and TNS ceases to be a TCAP subsidiary. The Company intends to deploy the approximately 3 billion baht in proceeds from the sale for further investments in promising businesses to generate sustainable and appropriate returns for shareholders."
