Leading Women's Summit 2026 returns to Bangkok with a renewed focus on connection, leadership and impact

The event will depart from traditional conference formats; the 2026 Summit centres on the theme Harness the Power, bringing together 24 women leaders and emerging voices from across the region for an evening of structured dialogue and cross-sector exchange.

The summit, proudly supported by The Advance Australia Council Thailand (AACT) and the Australia-New Zealand Women's Group (ANZWG), will feature a boardroom-style masterclass format, replacing static panels with rotating, 25-minute table discussions, guided by the "3 I's" framework: Inspire, Ignite and Incubate. Designed to encourage open exchange and active participation, the format emphasises practical insight over passive listening.

Jenn Villalobos, AI Digital Innovation Business Leader and a key contributor to the summit's strategy, said: "What stayed with me most wasn't just the calibre of women in the room, but the honesty of the conversations. Removing the traditional stage-and-audience dynamic allowed leaders and emerging voices to sit together, challenge ideas openly, and build trust—something that remains rare in International Women's Day programming."

Mandy McDonald, spouse of the New Zealand Ambassador to Thailand (H.E. Mr Jonathan Kings) and an active member of the New Zealand-Thai Chamber of Commerce, will return for the 2026 edition. She said: "Meaningful leadership conversations require trust and candour. This summit consistently creates that space, allowing women from different backgrounds to exchange perspectives with depth and mutual respect."

This year, a portion of the Summit's proceeds will again be donated to the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women (APSW - The Emergency Shelter), which has been providing refuge, healthcare and skills training to women affected by domestic violence and hardship since 1980. Funds raised through sponsorship, ticket sales and donations will directly support the organisation's ongoing work.
