CHANGAN Automobile, a leader in low?carbon intelligent vehicle technology, has appointed Mr. Deng Zhitao (???) as Managing Director of Changan Auto Southeast Asia Co., Ltd.; Managing Director and President of Changan Auto Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; and Managing Director of Changan Auto Components (Thailand) Co., Ltd., effective 27 November 2025. With this multifaceted role, Mr. Deng will spearhead CHANGAN's strategic vision across the region, overseeing the company's manufacturing operations, sales and marketing initiatives, and local supply chain development. His mission is to advance CHANGAN's "In Thailand, For Thailand" strategy, strengthening the company's position as a leader in the NEV segment while driving Thailand's transformation into a regional hub for new energy vehicle manufacturing. As part of this leadership transition, Mr. Shen Xinghua will be reassigned to Changan Headquarters as Head of Global Quality Management. His contributions have been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for the company's growth in the region.
Previously serving as Executive Vice President of Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd., Mr. Deng brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in automotive marketing and global management. His extensive expertise in brand building, market development, and customer engagement, coupled with his proven track record in driving business growth and leading market expansion initiatives, positions him as an ideal leader to guide CHANGAN in Thailand and other markets in Southeast Asia through its next phase of regional development. His deep understanding of consumer insights, strategic partnerships, and international market dynamics will be invaluable as CHANGAN continues its ambitious expansion in this dynamic region while reinforcing the company's commitment to becoming part of Thailand's economic fabric—creating meaningful jobs, building local capabilities, and contributing to the nation's ambition to lead ASEAN's NEV industry.
