Bangkok Bank, Chulalongkorn University and MIT sign an MOU to launch "Chula-LGO" curriculum to enhance education

Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich signed an MOU with Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President, Chulalongkorn University, to cooperate in developing and supporting "Innovative Engineering for Sustainability and Chula LGO" curricula. The curricula were also supported by leading national organizations, namely Mr. Thammasak Sethaudom, President & CEO, Siam Cement Group Public Company Limited, Mr. Sigve Brekke, Group Chief Executive Officer, True Corporation Public Company Limited, Mr. Aloke Lohia, Group Chief Executive Officer, Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited Mr. Sundaram Iyer, Head of Banpu Academy, Banpu Public Company Limited. The signing was witnessed by faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy.

The "Chula-LGO" curriculum is a dual master's degree program that integrates expertise in technology, engineering, business, and organizational management with an emphasis on both theoretical and practical learning through world-class research and case studies, as well as providing students with the opportunity to do practical internships in related sectors. Students can also attend short-term courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, to gain useful experience. This helps students from this program become well-rounded and capable of becoming true leaders of modern business at the international level.
