Nippon Paint, Asia's No. 1 and the world's No. 4 paint manufacturer from Japan, has won the prestigious annual "Superbrands Thailand 2025" award in the building paint brand category for the second consecutive year. This achievement reflects the brand's success in building strong brand recognition and trust among consumers nationwide. Over the past year, Nippon Paint has consistently strengthened its brand to reinforce its corporate philosophy, "Inspired by You," distinguishing itself clearly from other brands in the market, while also engaging in social initiatives that bring the brand closer to Thai consumers and keep it close to their hearts in the long term.

Mr. Watchara Siriritthichai, General Manager at Nippon Paint Decorative Coatings (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who represented the company in receiving the "Superbrands Thailand 2025" award, stated that winning the prestigious Superbrands Thailand award for the second consecutive year is a great source of pride for all Nippon Paint employees. Everyone has played a role in strengthening both the products and the Nippon Paint brand, earning a high level of trust from consumers across Thailand. This award serves as a strong affirmation that Nippon Paint is on the right path, positioning itself as a paint brand that is "Inspired by You," meaning a brand that develops innovations based on customer-centricity, ultimately leading to this achievement with great pride.

The Superbrands Thailand 2025 award is an internationally recognized platform originating from the United Kingdom, with more than 20 years of credibility. The program aims to identify brands that successfully build strong brand recognition and effectively respond to consumer needs across various product categories. The evaluation is based on surveys of 15,000 consumers nationwide, along with insights from more than 3,000 branding and marketing experts, using three key assessment criteria: brand quality, brand affinity, and brand personality. In 2025, a total of 27 brands received the Superbrands Thailand award, with Nippon Paint being the only building paint brand to receive this recognition.

In 2025, Nippon Paint communicated its brand through a television commercial titled "Asia's No.1," which tells the story of the brand's identity and values. The campaign reinforces Nippon Paint's positioning as the No.1 paint and coatings manufacturer in Asia, while also communicating its Japanese heritage and innovative global quality standards. This approach continues to build on Nippon Paint's core philosophy of customer-centricity as a paint brand that is "Inspired by You," a brand committed to sustainable business practices and genuine quality, aiming to remain the most trusted building paint brand in the hearts of Thai consumers.

Beyond year-round marketing communications, another key factor that has brought the brand closer to consumers and strengthened relationships on a deeper level is Nippon Paint's involvement in social initiatives. These include activities organized or supported by the brand, such as the Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA), a competition for emerging designers now in its 18th consecutive year. Another recent social initiative saw Nippon Paint partner with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to launch the Nippon Paint "Walk with Colours" project, which involved repainting pedestrian walkways around schools in four pilot communities in Bangkok using high-quality Nippon Paint Traffic Paint.

"Walk with Colours", a safety walkway initiative by Nippon Paint designed to make walking safer for students and local communities. We painted these vibrant walkways around four schools in Bangkok, particularly in alleyways without sidewalks, to mark a clear and safe walking zone for pedestrians.

Beyond their bright appearance, these painted paths serve a meaningful purpose; they remind drivers to stay alert and share the road responsibly, while helping pedestrians walk confidently within their boundaries.
