AGNI (Art Gallery & Next Ideas) launches "Roots and Rituals" - an exhibition that embodies art as a bridge between cultures, people, and spaces. Inspired by Lanna culture, it offers a space for mindful reflection on everyday habits as personal rituals that shape identity and belonging.
The exhibition is also grounded in Buddhist philosophy, approaching art as an evolving process that reflects on collective memory and identity, and how local histories can be overshadowed by central narratives. Featuring Dishon Yuldash (sculptural works on memory/transformation) and Swatchrokorn Wannasorn (works drawing from Northern ritual/mythical figures), "Roots and Rituals" encourages visitors to slow down, participate, and engage with the space.
Venue: AGNI - Agni Gallery (15/2, 6th Floor, Soi Ruamrudee, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330).
Date: Saturday, 17 January 2026
