SKYWORTH Solar joined 2026 SNEC Exhibition and held Global Customer Summit at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Under the theme "Go Global, Define the Next Five Years," SKYWORTH Solar officially announced its new brand positioning as a "Global Smart Energy Ecosystem Leader."
At the event, SKYWORTH Solar presented its strategic roadmap for the next five years to customers, distributors, partners and industry representatives from around the world. The company showcased its global business strategy, full-scenario solar-plus-storage solutions, integrated wind-solar-storage development layout, smart energy operation capabilities and localized overseas expansion model.
During SNEC 2026, SKYWORTH Solar built a 1,032-square-meter exhibition space at the SKYWORTH Module Hall, 8.2H. It showcased full product profilos, including PV modules, inverters, energy storage systems and mounting systems, while its solution portfolio covered residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale solar applications. SKYWORTH Solar also presented its full EPC service capabilities, demonstrating its integrated strength across product supply, solution design, project delivery and long-term energy services.
At the Global Customer Summit, Ms Wanfei Qu, Chief Investment Officer of SKYWORTH Group, CEO and director of SKYWORTH Solar, delivered a keynote speech titled "From China to the World: SKYWORTH Solar Global Vision and the Path Forward." She outlined SKYWORTH Solar's global expansion strategy and emphasized that globalization is not a short-term market choice for the company, but a natural extension of SKYWORTH Group's long-standing global DNA. Built on brand strength, product capability, service excellence and ecosystem power, SKYWORTH Solar continues to advance its overseas strategy under the principle of "Global Vision, Local Execution," working with global partners to build a sustainable clean energy ecosystem.
Further strengthening this global expansion pathway, SKYWORTH Solar also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JD International - JOYBUY, marking an important step in the company's global channel development. Following the signing, SKYWORTH Solar's balcony PV products are expected to be launched on JOYBUY, JD.com's cross-border e-commerce platform, around June 10, 2026. This collaboration will help SKYWORTH Solar reach a broader base of overseas customers through digital commerce channels, while enhancing the accessibility of its PV products and smart energy solutions in global markets.
As the global energy transition accelerates under the dual drivers of policy commitments and economic competitiveness, SKYWORTH Solar is focusing on key markets with strong renewable energy demand and long-term growth potential, including Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Against the backdrop of more than 130 countries and regions setting carbon neutrality commitments, the continued decline in the levelized cost of solar power, and rooftop solar becoming a mainstream energy solution for homes and businesses, SKYWORTH Solar is accelerating the deployment of distributed PV, residential energy storage, C&I solar-plus-storage and integrated energy services across global markets.
Southeast Asia is one of SKYWORTH Solar's important overseas growth regions. With strong solar resources, rising power demand, growing energy cost pressure among commercial and industrial users, and supportive policy momentum, the region offers broad opportunities for distributed solar and C&I solar-plus-storage solutions. Under the regional proposition "Southeast Asia: Better Living Through Solar," SKYWORTH Solar is focusing on product reliability, household energy improvement, commercial energy cost optimization and localized service capabilities.
Thailand is one of SKYWORTH Solar's key markets for localized operations in Southeast Asia. In April 2026, SKYWORTH Solar officially opened its Thailand office at the Empire Tower in Bangkok, marking a further step in the company's localized development across the region. Through the Thailand office, SKYWORTH Solar aims to better understand local market needs, provide Thai customers with full-process support from consultation and project execution to after-sales service, and offer local partners stronger support in supply chain coordination, warehousing and localized project delivery.During the office opening, SKYWORTH Solar also signed a 100MW C&I solar project MOU with local partner CapSolar, further expanding cooperation in Thailand's commercial and industrial rooftop solar market.
In the Thai market, SKYWORTH Solar continues to strengthen its local team, partner network, financial collaboration, project development and service system, working with local partners to explore clean energy solutions tailored to the needs of Thailand's commercial and industrial customers. Earlier in Bangkok, SKYWORTH Solar also highlighted its commitment to supporting regional energy transition through technological innovation, local partnerships and financial solutions. In addition to its strategic banking cooperation with ICBC Thai, SKYWORTH Solar has also secured a US$500 million investment fund, providing stronger capital support for Thailand solar project development, localized delivery and long-term clean energy deployment in Thailand and other overseas markets.
In Thailand, SKYWORTH Solar's 3MW rooftop distributed PV project for UMC Steel Plant in Chonburi Province has become a key C&I solar case. The project is expected to generate approximately 4.422 million kWh of clean electricity in its first year for the plant's daily operations. Under the BOT model, SKYWORTH Solar provides investment, construction, operation and maintenance support, showcasing its localized project delivery capabilities in Thailand.
For residential and urban living scenarios, SKYWORTH Solar also presented lightweight product portfolios tailored for overseas markets. SolaMate, a modular balcony solar system for apartments and small homes,it is easy to installed in 30 minutes. For SolaHome, it is a smart residential energy system which includes energy storage and smart monitoring to support more efficient household energy use and save bills.
The 2026 SNEC Exhibition and Global Customer Summit marked the official debut of SKYWORTH Solar's new identity as a Global Smart Energy Ecosystem Leader, while also demonstrating the company's upgraded globalization path.
Looking ahead, SKYWORTH Solar will continue to follow the direction of "Global Vision, Local Execution," bringing more efficient PV products, more flexible business models and more comprehensive smart energy services to global markets. Supported by its global partner network, localized operating system and full-scenario solar-plus-storage solutions, SKYWORTH Solar will continue to work with customers and ecosystem partners worldwide to make every ray of sunshine count.
