On March 9, 2026, Chaiyapornsaha Farm Co., Ltd. in Suphanburi Province publicly committed to 100% cage-free transition by 2027 - 1 million hens in cage-free system, marking one of Southeast Asia's largest single producer commitments. This achievement represents the culmination of three years of systematic engagement by CATALYST, demonstrating that science-based solutions (CATALYST's Good Life Framework Standard, sustained relationship building, financial institution partnerships, and viable market pathways through "Happy Egg Connect" can help large-scale commercial farm transitions. Chaiyaporn farm has already transitioned 50,000 hens in early April, with full implementation underway. Combined with Koh-Taew Co., Ltd.'s commitment (45,000 hens over 3 years) and Thaweephant Phuket's expansion (12,500 additional hens this year), Thailand achieved over 1 million-layer hens' commitment in transitioning out of cages in 2026 representing transformative growth from 2025's.
