JUNIPER NETWORKS CERTIFICATION FAST TRACK PROGRAMME REACHES MILESTONE IN ASIA PACIFIC

Fast Track Programme Extended; Exceeds 3000 Certifications and 7000 Applicants Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that over 3000 Asia Pacific networking professionals have earned enterprise routing qualifications in the company’s “Fast Track” certification programme. Launched in 2007, the programme enables qualified professionals to become certified in the Juniper Networks routing operating system, JUNOS, at substantial savings. JUNOS-based courseware is available to participants at no cost, along with 50 percent savings on exams for enterprise routing associate-level (JNCIA-ER) and specialist-level (JNCIS-ER) certifications. Juniper is extending the programme, which has now attracted more than 7000 Asia Pacific applicants, to the end of 2008. It will also expand the curriculum to encompass the company’s recently announced JUNOS-based Ethernet switching portfolio and additional subject areas. “There’s an increasing number of engineering professionals eager to capitalize on the growing market opportunity for JUNOS expertise,” said Sander Dales, Juniper’s vice president of customer services for Asia Pacific. “Being JUNOS-certified is the best way to address this market demand. We are very pleased with the programme’s success and, to build further on its momentum, have removed the original requirement for Cisco certification. These professionals can leverage the programme to obtain the following Juniper certifications: Operating Juniper Networks Routers in the Enterprise (OJRE), Advanced Juniper Networks Routing in the Enterprise (AJRE), and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate in Enterprise Routing (JNCIA-ER) with more certification offerings coming early in 2008. Access to the programme is via the Juniper Networks Certification Fast Track Web Portal, which contains all the Juniper Networks Education Services courseware, lab guides and diagrams, technical manuals, and the tools required to become certified in Juniper Networks JUNOS software.
