The band was formed when members of the local community, particularly Trinidadians, settled in Notting Hill in London and decided to keep their music, ages and cultures. They have completed tours across Europe, Israel, Trinidad and Sri Lanka. Accomplished performers, the Mangrove Steel Band artists frequently appear at a host of international venues and events, including a performance in the presence of HM the Queen of England.
