AMD64 PROCESSORS HONORED WITH 36 PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS WORLDWIDE SINCE INITIAL PRODUCT LAUNCHES

Bangkok--Feb 10--PC & Associates Consulting AMD announced that its AMD64 processors have already received 36 awards worldwide since the AMD Opteron processor launch in April 2003 and the introduction of the AMD Athlonƒ 64 processor in September 2003. Most recently, the AMD Opteron processor Model 848 received the Microprocessor Report Analysts' Choice Award for Best Server Processor 2003. This is the fourth consecutive year that In-Stat/MDR analysts have recognized AMD processors for their technical innovation.
