American Power Conversion (APC), a leading global provider of end-to-end infrastructure availability solutions, today unveiled the marketing plan for Thailand with expectation to deeply penetrate 3 target segments including Finance, Automobile and Telco after achieving overwhelming successful outcome in last year. In a past year APC Thailand also ranked No. 1 InfraStruXure’s top ASEAN seller; continues to lead the market with turnkey solution plus solid channels network. To reply to the rapid growth of industry, APC Thailand sets to double its business partners shortly.
According to Mr. Adisorn Arsirakarn, Country Manager, American Power Conversion Corporation (Thailand Representative Office), in this year APC Thailand will continue focusing on InfraStruXure by gearing to those target segments with deepen matrix, particularly on Automobile, Telco, Banking & Finance. The business plan set for this year is different from last year as APC Thailand would give precedence to knowledge distribution, so that target audiences would well understand about data center’s infrastructure solution and any related technology. Additionally, since the first launch of APC InfraStruXure Data Center on Demand in late of March 2005, from now on APC will wildly offer its on-demanded solution to end users from any type of target segments.
The main reason of placing importance on these 3 industry segments, it is the result of prosperous potential since APC has found that Banking, Financial and Telco organizations have to reengineer their working processes for efficiency purpose along to IT development that can meet the performance requirement in order to ensure their competitive ability. While automobile industry always meets consistent growth and immense figures of investment projects by international car manufacturers.
“APC specializes on Infrastructure for enterprise with skilled consultancy about assessment, how to design data center and recommendation on IT system deployment in order to add higher values to client’s business and promptly meet performance requirement.” added Adisorn
In the successful year of 2005, APC Thailand had joined business partners those who possess high potential and strength in both workforces and customer bases covering medium to large enterprise to initiate seminars delivering knowledge of InfraStruXure Data Center on Demand to the target audiences, aimed to continue knowledge distribution and mount the understanding of the solution. Meanwhile, as APC has a good command of advisory on InfraStruXure; during last year APC Thailand provided services to many of renowned SMEs and Enterprise groups i.e. Bumrungrad Hospital, Honda, GM and the giant IT vendor named Metro System.
“Previously, APC was widely known as UPS product vendor who ranked No. 3 leader in Thailand, but since the first introduction of InfraStruXure – Data Center on Demand in last year, so far APC has seized satisfying response from the market and now APC becomes Thailand’s first Infrastructure specialist who provides the complete package of services to enterprises,” added Adisorn.
For the year of 2006, APC Thailand will be in conjunction with the existing 7 business partners, 2 are Gold Partners and the rest 4 are Silver Partners breaking into the key targets. Moreover APC Thailand expects to appoint more business partners with double increase within this year-end.
Comparing to the other APC branches in ASEAN, in a past year APC Thailand met overwhelming sales performance and ranked No.1 sales value champion, according to APC Thailand country manager. As the turnkey solution APC provides customers with a single choice InfraStruXure for all of their data center infrastructure needs, from Rack, Power, Cooling, Services to complete NCPI management that caused successful outcome. APC Thailand does not only offer the pure solution, but also serve the clients with advisory on data center design and pattern with efficient after-sale services, while the other vendors mostly concentrate on system installation without advisory service. Furthermore, APC Thailand places importance on IT Solution marketing format passing through cooperated activity with potential business channels who can contribute drilling directly into the target customers via seminar for instance, where many of MIS managers and executives usually attend.
Adisorn viewed that Infrastructure consultancy services to enterprise will meet extreme growth globally. In Thailand, APC possesses the highest market shares comparing to the rest of vendors. In last year, APC Thailand started implementing Infrastructure in both divisions and departments of various government organizations. In 2006, APC Thailand is full of confidence that the company would capture more government clients owing to government’s support policy to IT industry.
