Motorola Announces Its Supports Of “MobileMonday” in Thailand Bringing the mobile community together

Motorola was delighted to announce its support of Thailand’s MobileMonday – first ever global mobile community in the world. Brought to Thailand by Moby Elite with the support of Motorola Thailand and AIS, the celebration toast for the first launch in Thailand of “MobileMonday” was recently held at Hu’u Bar. MobileMonday consists of monthly gatherings of mobile professionals, making up an open society promoting the mobile industry and fostering cooperation amongst its participants. MobileMonday in Thailand is scheduled to take place from June onwards at 19.00 hrs of the first Monday of every month at different venues in central Bangkok. Its launch event in Thailand was raised a lot of interest and a high turn-up of mobile professionals, directors of telecoms businesses as well as the ‘just techy’ and interested in the mobile industry advancements. Amongst them was John Rattanaveroj - well-known artist and host for technology TV program. This could only have been possible with the support from mobile industry leaders and with no hesitation, Motorola got engaged in bringing its full support for the idea to be imported to Thailand.” The first MobileMonday - Monday June 05th – will focus on the topic ‘music on the mobile’. On Monday July 03rd, MobileMonday will then bring a discussion on ‘games on the go’ and Monday 07th August on ‘TV on your phone’. Each topic will be discussed and designed by MobileMonday’s advisory committees—Motorola Thailand, AIS, Synovate, Software Park and Show No Limit, which following topics from September onwards will be announced in due time.
