Veraz Networks, Inc. today announced that FET (FarEasTone) subsidiary KGEX, one of Taiwan's largest mobile operators, selected Veraz to provide the products and services necessary for KGEX to build its VoIP System.
Veraz's ControlSwitch(TM) softswitch and I-Gate 4000 EDGE(TM) media gateways have enabled KGEX to manage voice traffic and to connect with carriers and customers directly via VoIP. Further, KGEX will utilize Veraz's products to interconnect to a broad range of IP peering partners over either SIP or legacy protocols like H.323.
