Teledirect Reveals Growing Trend in Telecommerce Outsourcing Throughout Asia-Pacific Creates Demand for Jobs in Tough Economic Climate
Teledirect Telecommerce (Thailand), a leading provider of customized solutions in telecommerce and teleconsulting in Asia, forecasts the market for telecommerce outsourcing in Asia will continue to grow rapidly and continue to create demand for new jobs.
While Asian’s macroeconomic growth is mixed, the principal economic countries in Asia like China, Hong Kong and Singapore are still growing rapidly. In the fist half of 2007, Hong Kong hit 10 percent growth, followed by China at 9.0 – 9.5 percent and Singapore at 7.6 percent. However, in every country in the region the need to stay competitive is paramount.
Businesses are always looking for cost-effective ways to market new products to prospective clients. Telemarketing represents a leader in this field at the present. Telemarketing can be the best way to spread the word about a company, save the company costs, and increase sales.
“Telemarketing today represents one of the most cost effective ways to reach target customers. Because of this, this region should continue to see a boom in the demand for telemarketing services as a way to maintain strategic advantage for a sales and marketing platform. From our own experience, every one of our customers increases sales while lowering costs – it’s hard for businesses to ignore results such as those,” said Mr. Laurent Junique, CEO of Teledirect Telecommerce Group.
Despite slowing economic growth in Thailand in this year, the telemarketing industry continues to create new jobs.
Khun Sawittree Rattanawong, Managing Director of Teledirect Telecommerce (Thailand), said “In spite of Thai growth slowing down due to the political situation, the revenue of telemarketing in the country still continues to grow. As a company, we are still aggressively looking for new talent to help us fill demand. We are at the moment open for new applicants.”
“All successful recruits will receive special training to build and polish their telemarketing skills, telephone manners, and fundamental skills for the effective communication. The experience they gain is invaluable for them should they pursue other careers in the future. And as their pay can be performance based, talented individuals can achieve aggressive goals of financial success,” she added.
“We are very happy to be able to continue to offer attractive employment even in a time of a difficult economic environment,” she concluded.
