The premium Indian airline, Jet Airways, which is the major sponsor of ‘The Great Indian Education Fair’, will organize a seminar on the topic "Study in India and Scholarships from Indian Government". The seminar will be held at the Auditorium, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, on Saturday 31 January 2009 from 4.30-5.30 pm.
The fair will provide students and parents the opportunity to learn more about the finest Indian schools offering quality education at an affordable cost.
The sponsorship of ‘The Great Indian Education Fair’ is part of a series of activities which will be unveiled by Jet Airways on the theme of heritage and discovery.
The Manager of Jet Airways in Thailand Lackana Wantaywin said that Jet Airways is sponsoring the education fair because it will introduce Thai students and parents to India as a land of quality education and knowledge.
Jet Airways has invited the Director of the India Studies Centre, Thammasat University Associate Professor Dr. Nongluksana Thepsawasdi and Former Director of the Sanskrit Studies Centre, Silpakorn University and the Committee of India Studies Centre, Thammasat University Associate Professor Dr. Chirapat Prapanvidya, to be the guest speakers who will talk about ‘Study in India and scholarships from the Indian Government’ at the seminar.
