About Bon Marche
Bon March? is a French word that means good market or good deal. It is situated on a 16-rai plot of land. The project started in 1997 with the main objective to provide unemployed, underprivileged and retired individuals, who were seeking ways to fight the economic recession, with career opportunities. Bon Marche believes “Fresh market represents the Thai way of living. It supplies foods and goods essential for living, for people of every social status. Today’s good markets should be up to recognized standards, one stop service and response to consumers’ needs.”
Bon Marche opened for operation on 1 July 1999. With 134 selected tenants at the start, the market initially supplied vegetables, fruits, groceries, confectioneries, fresh items and ready-to-eat foods. Receiving huge customer response, it has been growing rapidly over the years with double demand for vending space. The market later decided to add Plaza Zone in 2000 to accommodate the growing numbers of tenants. More and more product and service varieties such as jewelries, clothes and household goods have also been added since in response to customer increasing requirements. Today, Bon March? has become a market of choice for everyone.
