TrueMove Together With Conexus Mobile Alliance Expand “Data Roaming Flat Rate” Service in Macau and Vietnam

Along With “SMS Roaming Alert” Service, a Data Roaming Service Fee Reminder TrueMove, a member of the Conexus Mobile Alliance, announced an expansion of the popular “Data Roaming Flat Rate” service for travelers to Macau and Vietnam. To make sure that postpaid customers will not miss any form of communications during their trips abroad, TrueMove offers world class unlimited international data roaming at a maximum of 399 Baht per day through GPRS and EDGE. If usage does not reach the limit, the service is charged according to actual usage by kilobyte (service rates depend on each operator). In addition, the “SMS Roaming Alert” sends a reminder when Data Roaming usage is over the amount of 5,000 and 10,000 Baht, a convenient reminder for postpaid users who wish to monitor and control their data roaming costs during the trips. TrueMove postpaid subscribers are now able to use the “Data Roaming Flat Rate” service in Macau from today onwards and in Vietnam starting August 1, 2010. The “SMS Roaming Alert” service is available for postpaid customers using the international data roaming service to set a usage limit at 5,000 and 10,000 Baht. With this feature, users will be prompted automatically when their data roaming expenditure exceeds a certain threshold amount.
