Bloomberg's Norman Pearlstine in Bangkok to promote Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand

Norman Pearlstine, the Chief Content Officer for Bloomberg and Chairman of Bloomberg Businessweek, visted Bangkok on December 16 to mark the news that White Knight Media Co. Limited has assumed the licensing responsibilites for Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand magazine.

“Thailand plays a significant role in the global business world and is a vitally important market that we want to continue to serve,” said Bloomberg Businessweek President Paul Bascobert. “We are looking forward to working with White Knight Media to produce the highest-quality publication while meeting Thailand’s growing demand for Bloomberg Businessweek’s essential business content.”

Launched in 2007, Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand is the only licensed local-language edition of any global business magazine in Thailand. Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand will be managed by Ensign Media under a new management agreement with White Knight. Batt was previously Executive Director for the Thai-language edition at the previous licensee until November 2009.
