The Residences at St. Regis Bangkok Unveil Completely Customized Residence Designed Through Partnership withInfine Design and Lotus Arts de VivreCustomized Show Residence in Award-Winning St. Regis Showcases Bangkok’s Most Luxurious Lifestyle at City’s Best New Address Minor International PCL and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. are pleased to announce the debut of an exclusively customized residence at The Residences at St. Regis Bangkok, designed in partnership with infine design and featuring pieces from the Lotus Arts de Vivre collection. Slated to open on April 1, 2011, the highly anticipated St. Regis Bangkok will be Thailand’s first St. Regis, bringing a new dimension of elegance, sophistication and luxury never before seen in the region. “Nothing could showcase one of our largest suites better than this fortuitous partnership between infine design and Lotus Arts de Vivre,” said William E. Heinecke, chairman and CEO of Minor International PCL. “Infine is inventive in their approach to creating an exclusive and sophisticated, yet comfortable space for our discerning clients. The pieces from Lotus Arts de Vivre perfectly embody the St. Regis style – unique, exclusive and memorable.” Located at one of the Bangkok’s most coveted addresses on Rajadamri Road overlooking the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, The Residences at St. Regis Bangkok have already received accolades and renown in the region, including being named Best Condo Development in Bangkok and Thailand from the Thailand Property Awards 2010. Rising from the 25 – 45th floors of the new St. Regis building, The Residences offer 53 private residences with access to unparalleled luxury and bespoke St. Regis services at one of Bangkok’s most desired addresses. More than just a demonstration show suite, the customized residence on the 26th floor was converted from a four-bedroom to a large, grand three-bedroom residence, designed by infine design in partnership with Lotus Arts de Vivre. Known for their work on the world’s most prestigious and exclusive brands, the Bangkok-based infine design has presented a concept for The Residences that enhances the trademark St. Regis values of exclusivity and elegance fluently combined with modernity and comfort. The infine design of the customized residence capitalizes on the generously proportioned rooms and stunning views of the city below. The residence has been customized with a separation wall to make the space more complex, giving it the feel of a promenade and creating different angles of views and perceptions of space. Upon entering, the living area and dining room are split by the separation wall, each providing their own unique scenes and perspectives. The living room is a blend of old European and modern styles. Elegant crystal chandeliers and sconces and traditional wall moldings offset modern large-scale furniture. The room is awash in bronze and chartreuse, enhanced by dark woods and accent furniture. The dining room combines old Europe character with modern tones. Wall moldings are combined with modern tones, and a contemporary, symmetrical chandelier relates to the cabinetry of the separation. Infine created individual themes for each of the spacious bedrooms. The large master bedroom is more Western in scale – airy and bright – with a modern feel. The walls come alive with a custom silver leaf finish over stucco, and the wide-planked dark oak wood floors are offset with contemporary furniture. The guest bedroom has a more natural feel, with warmer colors and tones mixed with dark woods and wall coverings with leaf patterns. A bright yellow armchair gives the space depth. A romantic third bedroom is subdued with dimmed lights, deep blues and purples, and natural materials such as linen.
