lebua Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the appointment of Rachna Sharma as the Regional Director of Sales – India. With diverse and in-depth experience and profound understanding of luxury hospitality in India along with her impeccable attention to details, Rachna will now provide leadership to establish lebua Hotels & Resorts’ presence in the country. Speaking on her appointment, Deepak Ohri, CEO, lebua Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to have Rachna as a part of lebua Hotels & Resorts. Her astute skills and direction will help us build the lebua brand presence in India. Having someone of her caliber working for our foray in India is invaluable to us.” Rachna started her career with reputed hotel chains such as the Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces and The Imperial New Delhi where she gained vast experience in sales and marketing, which was proved to be invaluable, as India opened its doors to the high-end hospitality market. Rachna then went on to work with Hilton Worldwide where she was appointed as the Associate Director of Sales in their pre-opening team for their flagship hotel in New Delhi. During that role, she was actively involved in launching the Hilton Worldwide Sales concept in India. Her contribution to Hilton was endorsed when she was later promoted as the Director of Sales for Hilton Garden Inn. In her previous assignments, Rachna has also conceived and established the national sales & marketing structure for the master franchise of Pizza Hut, KFC & Costa Coffee in India. A graduate in hotel management, Rachna’s innovative ideas have been well received leading to great success.
