SiS teams up with Targus to launch 985 bags for underprivileged kids project Those who donate an old bag pack or a notebook bag pack in good condition will receive a discount of at least 45 percent on the purchase of a new Targus notebook bag pack.Now until 20 November 2012 SiS Distribution (Thailand) Public Company Limited is teaming up with Targus Asia Pacific to launch the project “985 Bags for Underprivileged Kids”.The project is calling for the donation of old bag packs or notebook bag packs in good condition in return for at least 45 percent discount on the new Targus notebook bag pack. The project is valid until 20th November 2012. Mitri Nademahakul, General Manager of SiS Distribution (Thailand) Pcl said: “Corporate social responsibility is one the company’s policies and we arrange projects on a continuous basis. We have initiated this project with our business partners because we are distributors of IT products and we are keen to invite our partners to participate in our social projects. "The project to provide 985 bags for underprivileged children is launched with the support and cooperation of Targus Asia Pacific, the leading US notebook bag pack producer." The project is open for the donation of old notebook bag packs or general bag packs which are in good condition. The donation can be made at IT shops that are selling Targus notebook bag packs at IT Mall in Fortune Tower, Pantip Plaza, and the Targus Shop at Gateway Ekamai. There will be a donation box in front of the shops and also at the public area of the department stores. The normal price of a Targus notebook bag pack is 1,890 baht. Those who donate an old general bag pack will receive 690 baht discount on the normal price and 890 baht for old notebook bag pack. The 985 old bags will be allocated for donation to students in two schools in remote provinces. They are Wat Chandaram in Srisakes Province and Bann Kae Sra Yai in Surin Province. “We have set the target number of bags at 985 units as we wish to dedicate this project as merit for His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 85th years anniversary on 5th December," says Mr Mitri.
