TEAM MEMBERS FROM MILLENNIUM HILTON BANGKOK CELEBRATE ANNUAL HILTON WORLDWIDE GLOBAL WEEK OF SERVICE

In celebration of Hilton Worldwide’s second annual Global Week of Service, Mr.Dirk De Cuyper, General Manager of Millennium Hilton Bangkok together with 140 volunteers from every department, served the Orphanage Foundation of Thailand by building a new medical room, renovating its old storage room, deep cleaning the children’s rooms, and serving them meals, as well as creating a new website for the foundation. Community service is a tradition embedded in Hilton Worldwide’s culture, and acts of volunteerism occur year-round across ten distinct brands and 4,000 properties. Millennium Hilton Bangkok’s efforts are a part of Hilton Worldwide’s week-long celebration of the company’s commitment to serving the communities where we live, work and travel, which this year includes hundreds of hands-on service projects globally. “Our aim is to further improve the welfare of children being cared for by the the Orphanage Foundation of Thailand, by harnessing the resources and skills of our team members. Broken equipment and facilities will be fixed by our Engineering team, deep cleaning and washing will be undertaken by our Housekeeping team, while food and nutrition matters will be taken care of by our Kitchen and F&B teams.
