          “The 30th Thailand International Motor Expo 2013” is specially organized to mark 3 decades of the event. Regarding the concept of Motor Expo this year, the Organizer is aware that the prospect of oil shortage is a looming crisis. In preparing to cope with such situation all parties in both public and private sector should promote the use of alternative energies seriously. Currently, it can be seen that car makers have been shifting towards increasing use of alternative energy to propel vehicles, whether in hybrid form or as pure electricity which is clean and pollution-free.
          And this is how the concept “Innovative Energies-World-Changing Vehicles” was derived. So it would be interesting to see how car companies react to reflect this concept. As for Concept/Prototype cars, there are 5 on display this year. At the same time, many car companies will debut new models at the Motor Expo to receive varying privileges and discounts in descending order offered by the Organizer to car companies according to whether the launch is World, Asia, ASEAN, or Thailand launch.
