Nu Skin Thailand Announces Its First Half-year Sales Growth of 25% Along with the Launch of new ageLOC products

          Nu Skin Enterprises (Thailand) Ltd. reveals its success with the reverse 25% increase in sales during the first half year and will sustains the momentum with its new product, ageLOC TR90, expecting 20% increase in sales during the second half year.
          Mrs. Pakapun Leevutinun, president of Nu Skin Enterprises Thailand and Vietnam operations, reveals that the direct-selling business, as a whole, has slowed down at the end of last year due to the political situation and economic matters, while Nu Skin had also been slightly affected. Our company, therefore, was motivated to fully adopt proactive marketing approaches at the beginning of this year that appear to have considerable potential as Nu Skin Thailand was able to achieve the reverse sales growth of 25%. During the first six months, the number of Nu Skin distributors has increased by 36% with 72% increase in the number of new members, compared to the numbers achieved in January – May 2013.
          “The first half-year sales has exceeded our expectation, in terms of both sales, numbers of Nu Skin distributors and new members. This is the result of our new strategy that mainly emphasizes the growth of our distributors. This new approach was introduced at the Nu Skin ageLOC Expo and this year the number of Nu Skin distributors has increased by 188% compared to June 2013 which was the first month in which the new strategy was employed.”
          As for the sales ratio, the sales of ageLOC skincare and food supplementary products has increased from 50% to 67%, while the sales of other skincare and food supplementary products has decreased from 50% to 33% compared to January – May 2013. The launch of ageLOC R2 last year had partially helped boost the sales as the ageLOC products have been well received by consumers. As the products have given excellent results, the consumers are most satisfied,” Mrs. Pakapun said.
          Mrs. Pakapun also added, “For the second half of this year, the company has prepared to launch “ageLOC TR90”, a new ageLOC technology product, to emphasize the role of an anti- aging technology leader. “ageLOC TR90” is a weight management and body shaping system which is in line with the current trends of health and fitness. The presale will be available for Nu Skin executive distributors in the middle of July. The company expects that after the official launch of the new ageLOC product in the fourth quarter of 2014 the target of 20% increase will be reached.”
          Meanwhile, the company continues to organize exclusive incentive trips as the business promotion activities for Nu Skin distributors to attract and encourage them to carry on the business. On average, the company arranges a trip once a month for different groups of participants.
          “At present, Nu Skin Thailand is able to create more than 680 Millionaire Club distributors, conforming to the vision of the company that aims to become the world’s leading direct-selling company which generates more income for the distributors compared with other companies. During the first half of this year, the number of distributors with one million baht commission has increased by 12%,” concluded Mrs. Pakapun.
