The Value Systems (a member of ECS Holdings), one of leading IT distributors in Thailand, is going forward to build a next imaginative fairy tale library donated to Wat Amornwadi (Amorn Wittayakarn) School, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province. This is the 9th Fairy Tale Project, a major CSR activity of the Company. The opening ceremony is scheduled on Sunday 24 May 2015.
The 9th Fairy Tale Library is located at the ground floor of Amorn Thammarath Uppatham Building, the newest 2-story building of the school, at a total space of 336 sq. whereas the 2nd floor is utilized to be 5 classrooms.
From an open space, it has been completely built an extension of 4 side’s wall, installed glass and curved steel of all windows, and also repainted interior and exterior. Now, it is in progressive of installation electric wiring for computers, fans, and IP cameras, including a rolling shutter door at the entrance of the library. The company has coordinated with the school principle to find a local outsource to handle all of these processes. This is aim to generate income to a local community.
Next step, a group of volunteer students from Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) will come to paint all insides walls to make this library fulfill of dream and imagination to students and children in nearby areas.
A design of the 9th fairy tale library has been created by 4 interior designer students from Faculty of Architecture of KMITL. These students have volunteered to help us design a fairy tale library for many years. Their design always focuses on utilizing a library space to achieve maximum benefits. All libraries under Fairy Tale Library Projects are comprised of fairy tale books zone, academic books zone, a puppet theatre, Lego corner, computers corner, librarian desk, including an honor corner of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. We assure that this unique library will be an important source to build a love reading habit and create an imagination to Thai children.
