Genesys Strengthens Asia Pacific Leadership Team with Appointment of New Southeast Asia Managing Director

Press Releases »

Genesys (www.genesys.com), a leading provider of customer experience and contact center solutions, recently announced the appointment of Choon-Seng Tan as Managing Director for the South East Asia region. Choon-Seng will drive Genesys’ Southeast Asia sales strategy, strengthening the company’s presence in the region and commitment to its growing customer base.
Choon-Seng joins Genesys with over 25 years of experience in the IT and software industry, predominantly in the customer experience and contact centre markets. He has served in sales and leadership positions in corporations like Aspect, Avaya, and Convergys developing and building partnerships with clients, global system integrators and local channel partners across Asia Pacific.
“It’s such an exciting time to be joining Genesys and leading the company into new areas of growth,” said Choon-Seng. “Genesys is at the forefront of transforming customer experience and engagement for businesses and it’s a great opportunity to be part of the APAC leadership team. The acquisition of CanaPlus Consulting in September last year expanded Genesys market reach, and I’m looking forward to building on this success and diversifying our offerings into new, emerging markets in South East Asia.”
As he embarks on his new role, Choon-Seng will report to Bruce Eidsvik, Genesys’ Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for driving and executing the company’s sales strategy and managing Genesys’ sales teams in South East Asia.
“Increasingly, businesses in the region are prioritizing customer experience as a strategic differentiator and are turning to Genesys solutions to help them take their customer experience journey to new levels,” said Bruce Eidsvik. “We are excited to have Choon-Seng onboard to lead our teams and drive forward Genesys’ rich solutions to new and existing customers across the region.”
