There were no Leaders in this year’s Magic Quadrant. The report was published Dec. 10, 2014, by analysts To Chee Eng, Arup Roy, Vincent Fu, and Kenshi Tazaki.

Evaluation criteria for the MQ included an assessment of the product or service, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness/record, marketing execution, customer experience, and operations. The other criterion was completeness of vision, which included market understanding, marketing strategy, sales strategy, offering (product) strategy, business model, vertical/industry strategy, innovation, and geographic strategy.
