City Automobiles hosts exclusive ‘Jaguar Land Rover Thailand Test Drive Experience’ group test drive opportunity on award-winning model line-up

For the first time in Thailand, City Automobiles Co., Ltd. hosted an exclusive Jaguar Land Rover customer group test drive event, the ‘Jaguar Land Rover Thailand Test Drive Experience.’ Sanpong Chuenroj, Managing Director, led the City Automobiles Co., Ltd. sales team in providing an exceptional opportunity for VIP customers of the two iconic British brands to test drive the latest iterations of popular and award winning models, including the F-TYPE V6, XJ, XF and Range Rover Evoque.
“This ‘Jaguar Land Rover Thailand Test Drive Experience’ event is one of our key marketing initiatives this year, which create exciting and unique events for our customers to experience the world class capabilities of our Jaguar and Land Rover models first hand,” explained Serge Touron, General Manager. “We have expert instructors on hand to give customers tips and ensure safety throughout the event. Customers were able to experience JLR’s cutting-edge product technologies and driving systems offered across the range of cars, as well as an unrivalled driving experience that only Jaguar Land Rover can offer.”
The ‘Jaguar Land Rover Thailand Test Drive Experience’ was spearheaded by the incredible Jaguar F-TYPE Convertible V6 3.0-litre, a supercharged pure sports car with 380 horsepower and a top speed of 260 Km/h with breath-taking aesthetic design to match. Jaguar fans were also well served by the newly introduced Jaguar XJ 2.0-litre – a car designed to offer the premier luxury of the world’s favourite limo, the highly coveted XJ, with an engine that is sensible on fuel and kind to the environment. Jaguar’s 2-litre big cat redefines what a luxury car should be through a dramatic combination of beauty, luxury and power, delivering a refreshing driving experience (240 horsepower and top speed of 241 Km/h) and elegant passenger experience. Jaguar’s affordable and capable XF model, a best-seller in Europe, demonstrated its flawless ride and handling on the specially prepared test track at the Infantry Department 11 Royal Guard in Bangkok. The Jaguar XF has 240 horsepower, with a 2.0 litre engine and has won in excess of 100 international and UK Awards since its launch.
The event also showed off the unique on-road manners and superb composure of the Range Rover Evoque 2.2 litre SD4 with 190 horsepower and nine-speed gearbox. Jaguar Land Rover’s best-selling car in Thailand is a great match to the torquey and smooth diesel power plant, bringing amazing real-world kilometres-per-litre and negligible carbon footprint to luxury SUV motoring.
