City Automobiles, the sole authorised distributor for Jaguar Land Rover in Thailand has appointed Charnchai Mahantakhun as Managing Director. He takes charge of overall business and sales strategy for City Automobiles as it grows its customer base in Thailand, strengthens the Jaguar Land Rover brand and continues to improve its sales and service performance in the Thai market.
Charnchai will work with Jaguar Land Rover to offer an exceptional customer experience, as the global premium automotive brand increases its share in the Thai market. Following a solid sales performance in 2015 to date, and building upon the launch of a regional flagship showroom in Rama 4, Charnchai will drive further growth for Jaguar Land Rover in 2016 and beyond.

Charnchai Mahantakhun is known in the Thai automotive market for working with premium and high performance brands with a focus on enhancing overall business including marketing, sales and aftersales service. Before his appointment, Charnchai worked with Triumph Motorcycles as Sales & Dealer Development Manager; prior, he spent three years as General Manager with Ducati's authorized dealer in Thailand, transforming Ducati into one of Thailand's most recognised luxury sports brands. Charnchai also enjoyed tenure with Cavallino Motors, Ferrari Thailand's Authorized Importer and Dealer for Ferrari, as Sales & Marketing Director. In addition, he possessed an exceptional experience as General Manager for BWM Barcelona Auto Phuket, BMW Authorized Dealer in Thailand, and Lexus Auto City, Lexus Thailand's Authorized Dealer.
Charnchai Mahantakhun graduated from Thammasat University, where he completed a Bachelor Degree in Economics, followed by a Master of Commerce with a Major in Marketing from Sydney University.
