AAS Auto Service (AAS), the sole authorized importer and distributor of Porsche cars in Thailand
together with Porsche Club Thailand organized an exclusive fun driving trip "Drive of the Year (DOTY)"
for Porsche Club members. As a safety concern, AAS has provided Porsche supporting service team to accompany all the club members throughout the route Chiang Mai-Lampang-Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai.
40 Porsche cars led by Mr. Tatcha Jayapani, president of Porsche Club Thailand, began the journey from Chiang Mai Airport to Wat Pa Tueng to make merit and visit Luang Pu La Ta Thip, a famous instructor from the Northern part of Thailand. Then, Porsche members stop-by for lunch at a five-star hotel Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi and took a group photo together with Porsche cars. The Porsche members continued their drive to Lam Poon and Lam Pang to visit the two famous temples, Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Worra Mahawiharn and Wat Prathat Lampang Luang. Porsche crews reached Wienglakor Hotel and enjoyed their first night with Cool & Cool Party Style Porsche Club Thailand under the cool breeze. On Day 2, Porsche team headed to Chiang Rai to visit beautiful landmarks including Mae Salong Flower Hills and Baandum Museum then stayed overnight at Dusit Island Resort Chiang Rai.
On the last day, Porsche member visited Choui Fong Tea Plantation along the way back from Chiang Rai. They made their final stop at Le Coq D'Or where Porsche crews have tasted the Classic tea set and taken group photo as a wrap up of this extraordinary trip.
