Chris Hatcher, Chief Winemaker of leading Australian winery Wolf Blass, recently visited Thailand to host a series of consumer and trade events with the aims of raising awareness and knowledge for one of the most awarded wineries in the world.
Considered one of Australia's leading winemakers, Chris is a highly respected international wine show judge. During this trip to Thailand, media, consumers, trade representatives and VIP guests were treated to his detailed wine knowledge and learnt interesting tips to enhance their wine experience.
Key events included a Wolf Blass Master Class organized for local trade representatives and VIP guests at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel with the objective of providing wine knowledge and insights into Wolf Blass' award winning wines and brand essence.
Another key event organized was a VIP dinner held at the Red Sky Bar at the Centara Grand Hotel which was attended by His Excellency, Paul Robilliard, the Australian Ambassador to Thailand, amongst other notable guests.
This visit to Thailand closely follows the Chris Hatcher's recent global win as 'Red Winemaker of the Year' at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London. It's a triple treat for Wolf Blass, being awarded this accolade for the third time following wins in 2008 and 2013. In its 33rd year, the International Wine Challenge (IWC) is recognised as one of the world's finest, most meticulously judged and influential wine competitions.
