New Zealand voted top adventure destination by Thais
New Zealand ranked first against five international destinations. The magazine has been conducting the awards since 2013 and this is New Zealand's third consecutive award after winning 'Best Destination for Nature 2013' and 'Ultimate Dream Destination 2014'.
Mr King says it's an honour to receive this award and the continued success of New Zealand at the Lonely Planet Traveller Thailand magazine awards is a testament to New Zealand being a top travel destination for Thai people.
"It's fantastic to see a real appetite for the outdoors here, and New Zealand offers a wide range of adventure options, popular with locals and international visitors alike. There's so much to offer such as glacier walks, kayaking, luging, outdoor walks and jet boating most of which can be enjoyed year round," said Mr King.
The survey was conducted with Lonely Planet Traveller Thailand's online and offline readers in late 2015.
