          Bangkok Bank Vice Presidents of Public Relations Department, Aphiwat Punnopakorn (2nd from right) and Suwit Indrachalerm (right), presented Baht 500,000 to the President of the Thai Journalists Association, Paramet Lekpetch (2nd from left), and the Past President, Wanchai Wongmeechai (left), to help with the organization of a dinner talk to mark the 62nd anniversary of the Thai Journalists Association on 5 March. This year, the association not only presented several awards but also organized a dinner talk on the topic, 'Media and the continuation of King Rama 9's royal wishes' by the Secretary-General of the Royal Initiative Discovery Foundation, M.R. Disnadda Diskul. Bangkok Bank has been a major sponsor of this event for several years as it is aware of the importance of the media's role and their responsibility to probe and share opinions on improving society.
