ANANDA HUA HIN PIONEERS NEW LAGOON POOL VILLA ACCOMMODATION IN THAILAND’S LEGENDARY ROYAL SEASIDE DESTINATION
Leading independent resort, Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa, a Compass Hospitality-managed property, has ratcheted up the luxury stakes in Thailand's royal destination by introducing the first lagoon pool villas to the tourism hot spot, complete with exclusive private lounge facilities available to villa guests only.
The 13 lagoon pool villas, which come in one- and two-bedroom configurations, offer guests the best of both worlds – the chance to chill out in their own private eight-metre pool, or if the mood takes them to explore the expanse of the deep blue lagoon pool – to idle, float or work out with 100-metre lengths.
The lagoon accommodation lines the pool in an area of the expansive new resort that sits close to the Gulf of Thailand. The two-bedroom lagoon pool villas provide 268-square metres of self-contained space, complete with a mini pantry, king-size bed, separate bath tub and shower facilities, an outdoor shower, plus an al fresco deck and landscaped gardens surrounding the private pool. The one-bedroom version, at 188-square metres, is exactly the same in terms of facilities, but offers a scaled-down option.
"The lagoon villas are a great innovation and a perfect market fit," says Nigel Tovey, General Manager, Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa. "For families they are priceless as the younger kids can play in the private pool while parents relax on the deck – which can be transformed into a BBQ area by the pool in the evening."
"Equally they are ideal for groups of friends to stay in Hua Hin together by taking one or two villas next to each other. It opens up new options for travel and they have quickly become our most sought-after room category," he adds.
To compliment the new lagoon lifestyle, guests are treated to exclusive Villa Lounge Privileges including private check-in and check-out by a personal villa host, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea between 2pm-4pm and evening cocktails between 5pm-6.30pm.
"The idea is to bring a little elegant relaxation into the guest experience – nothing too formal – but more just a full package of exclusive convenience for couples, groups of friends or families," added Mr Tovey.
In total, Ananda Hua Hin Resort and Spa boasts 23 pool villas in its villa collection. The other 10 villas include one standalone beachfront villa, a pair of two-bedroom pool villas, and nine one-bedroom pool villas.
The resort is offering a Couples Getaway Package for its villa guests, from THB21,800 net until 30 November 2017, including two nights' accommodation, daily breakfast for two, unlimited Wi-Fi, one Seafood BBQ in villa or at Brezza Restaurant for two, one bottle of sparkling wine, complimentary free flow cocktails at Blue Biscuit for two hours per stay, complimentary Villa Lounge benefits and free round-trip shuttle service to Hua Hin town.
