The two-day holiday promotion is wholesome family get-together or social dining gathering among friends, with an expanded menu of traditional Chinese dishes representing a broad swathe of China's vast diversity of styles and regional culinary influences. The venue's airy, wide-open layout comfortably accommodates ample seating amid a charming Thai street-food motif.
At the Chinese food station, classic Egg Noodles with pork wontons are prepared-to-order as the ever-popular dim sum station beckons diners with succulent dumplings bursting with pork, shrimp or crab filling. Savoury seekers and sweet- tooths alike will enjoy the just-made steamed buns with choice of BBQ pork or egg custard filling, while a spoilt for choice variety of hot specialties will also be on offer.
Alongside this tantalising Sino centric spread, Amaya Food Gallery's popular international buffet offers a dizzying variety of pan-Asian and international cuisines, including ocean-fresh seafood with highlights that include premium-imported lobster, crab and mussels served iced or grilled, along with Thai classic Som Tam which diners can customise with a selection of fresh ingredients.
A compliment of stylish, stand-alone show kitchens serve as live cooking stations offering authentic world-cuisine specialties—Italian favourites like à la minute-prepared pasta with assorted sauces and bakery delicacies such as stuffed flatbread Paidinas; aromatic Indian delights like Pulao, Chicken Rara and Murgh Malai Tikka; Japanese options like market- fresh sashimi and sushi creations plus a station devoted to succulently char-grilled, premium-cut meats. After a supremely satisfying repast, guests are invited to surrender to the merciless temptations of Amaya's sweeping dessert selection featuring seasonal local fruits, traditional Thai sweet and treats, made-to-order ice cream sundaes, freshly made Crepes and our signature Ice Kacangs with 40 choices of topping, plus a rotating selection of world's kitchens-spanning cakes, mousses and fine patisserie.
Lunch buffet diners will have a front-row seat for a traditional Lion Dance performance, an ages-old artistic ritual said to bring about prosperity and good luck in the new year, while all paying guests will receive a complimentary Mandarin mocktail (non-alcohol) welcome drink.
